A window, not a replay.
Open & Live rotates through intentionally public live camera feeds every seven seconds. There is no pause button or recording library. Back and forward change the camera, not the time.
Launch edition: public traffic cameras. Feeds can buffer, go offline, or have a short broadcast delay. Unavailable streams are skipped. Choose a broad area using the picker. We don't publish camera addresses, maps, or individual camera locations.
Are these cameras really public?＋
Yes. The launch feeds come from Caltrans' official public camera service, provided for application integration. We do not scan for exposed devices, bypass logins, or access private cameras. This site is independent and is not endorsed by the feed provider.
Can I revisit a camera?＋
Use the back arrow to return to the previous camera's current live view. The seven-second rotation continues. You can also use your keyboard's left and right arrows.
How does advertising work?＋
Choose an available spot, upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image and add your destination link. Your image is resized to the spot. Payment is handled by Stripe. A confirmed payment activates the ad automatically. Each spot can have multiple advertisers. One ad appears per spot for each seven-second camera view. With two buyers, their ads alternate; with more, each gets an even share of rotations. Buying a spot does not mean exclusive placement.
